JD Hale

JD is a true Jackson native, having been born, raised, and educated here. He has been married for 31 years and has two sons and one daughter. JD is a veteran of the Armed Forces, having served a combined total of 13 years in the U.S. Army Reserve and National Guard. He joined the Jackson Police Department in 1980 and progressed through the ranks until he retired as Captain in 2015. His time with JPD included patrol, traffic, DUI, and administration duties, as well as additional responsibility as the crash and critical incident commander. After retiring from JPD, he served a year as Deputy Chief for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office before taking full retirement from law enforcement. When he’s not selling real estate, JD enjoys beekeeping, woodworking, knife making, and probably every outdoor sport imaginable. He is excited to continue building his new career in real estate, bringing his deep familiarity with Jackson and his easygoing demeanor together to serve clients well.
